Michael Jackson, also known as the King of Pop died On June 25, 2009 at the age of 50. It has been said that he overdosed on strong painkillers and was under great stress due to his upcoming concert. Michael Jackson has inspired almost every singer in the industry and could out-dance any one of them. This legend will be remembered for years to come.

 

2. Ryan Dunn

This daredevil and an American reality star was well liked. He was a member of Jackass and Vive la Barn. He also hosted shows like Proving Ground and Homewrecked. In a dui, Dunn crashed his car into a tree on June 20, 2011. He was traveling around 130-140 m/h in a 55mile zone.

 

3. Amy Winehouse

She was an English Singer-Songwriter with great talent. Constantly she suffered from mental health problems, depression, suicide, eating disorders and substance abuse. Despite such problems she was a critically successful singer. In 2006, she was nominated for 6 Grammy Awards, 5 of which she won. With the announcement of her death on July 23, 2011, it is a great and darn shame that she joins the tragic 27 club so early in life.

 

4. Patrick Swayze

Patrick Swayze will be remembered for his role in “Dirty Dancing” as well as “Ghosts”. He died at the age of 57 after fighting with pancreatic cancer for years.

 

5. Brittany Murphy

Brittany Murphy died in December 2009, aged 32. Even though she was a part of movies like “8 Mile”, “Sin City” and “Girl, Interrupted”, her career had started to dwindle during her last few years. There were a number of concerns surrounding her gaunt appearance.

 

6. Natasha Richardson

Natasha Richardson died at 45 after meeting with an accident that lead to severe head injuries. She started her career over 35 years ago and has starred in movies like “Maid in Manhattan”, “The Parent Trap” and “Nell”. This beautiful actress died too young and will remain in our hearts forever.

 

7. John Ritter

Ritter died in 2003 and was world renowned for his role in “Three’s Company” as Jack. He had a natural flair for comedy and carried out dramatic roles with equal ease. He will always be remembered for his role in “Sling Blade”. There is no doubt that he will go down in history as one of the most loved actors of all time.

 

8. Steve Irwin

This Australian was The Crocodile Hunter and was working with animals when he died. When his death was announced, popular websites crashed due to the heavy traffic. A number of talk shows paid tribute to this great man and Government officials honored him. He is survived by his daughter and wife.

 

9. Bernie Mac

Bernie Mac began his career as a standup comedian and went onto star in a number of comedies. He was a part of movies like “Guess Who”, “Ocean’s Eleven” and “Mr.3000”. He died in 2008 due to complications after he was diagnosed with pneumonia. His death was nothing if not shocking and he will be greatly missed.

 

10. Heath Ledger

Heath Ledger died at 28 after he overdosed on a number of toxic drugs. He had been a part of 19 films and was starting to get recognized for his role in “Brokeback Mountain”. This actor would have undoubtedly won countless awards in the future, especially for his role in “The Dark Knight”.
