A cake is supposed to be good looking so that we want to eat it. Those who created these obviously did not think so because they are nothing if not ugly and repulsive.

1. The Lung Cake

Hopefully this cake started off as a normal and round chocolate cake but the baker seemed to have had a very bad idea. He covered it with a sickening version of the color pink and added irregular red lines all over it. The pink portion was meant to be the base of the lungs and the red lines were the veins. Bon Appétit!

2. Dead Crow

The name says it all. This cake was in the form of a crow that was placed belly up on the round foil-covered base. Its head was turned to the left and its mouth was open. The best part is that some red blood-like liquid was placed next to its mouth because God forbid, we may misunderstand and think that its asleep.

3. Decapitation Cake

The baker here placed a severed head on top of a grey round base- splattered with blood-like frosting. The ‘person’ had its eyes closed, his skull was bandaged and his face was horribly bruised and cut up. His features were molded to put across the fact that it had been through great torture. That is exactly what we want to think about before we eat something, right?

4. Kitty Litter Cake

The base of this cake was molded into the form of a container that is used to collect kitty litter. The main portion of this cake was a sickly brown, green and mustard-yellow. It was probably delicious- once you got over how gross it looked.

5. Divorce Cake

We all know that wedding cakes are three-tiered, beautifully iced and decorated with marzipan flowers. A divorce cake is similar- the only difference is that instead of the statue of the couple, it has only the bride atop the cake and the poor groom is lying face down at the base. Blood trickles down the various layers and makes the cake look quite hilarious.

6. Skull Cake

This cake is in the form of a skull which is deteriorating horribly. The eye sockets are filled with black icing as are the ears and teeth.

7. Carrie Cake

We all know who Carrie is- the timid fictional character created by Stephen King who had pigs blood thrown all over her at her prom. This cake depicts the scene and shows the telekinetic girls standing with a bouquet of flowers, drenched in blood.

8. Zombie Cake

This horrible cake was created by a woman who obviously had a great imagination. The zombie’s head was painted a gruesome shade of black and its hair was yellow and seemed to have been ripped out of its skull. It had rotting teeth and a single blue eye. The other socket had blood sprouting out of it.

9. Thorax Cake

The thorax is that part of the body which extends from a region below the head till the abdomen. The lungs and the heart are placed within this cavity and needless to say, so are a bunch of blood vessels. All the makings of a yummy cake, obviously.

10. Severed Hand and Rats

The baker first created a bloody and severed hand and then some rats. He then placed the rats around the hand to make it seem like they were coming towards it to nibble at it. You can pretend that you are a rat when you eat this revolting cake.

Many people claimed to have been attacked in 1837 by a strange looking creature who had long pointed years, yellow or glowing eyes and a long nose. As the story spread, so did the complaints and the number of ‘victims’.

5. A Monster in London

A man is rumored to have attacked beautiful women during the late 1700s. While some say he carried the knives, others say he had them poking out of his knees. These stories reached different parts of the country after which young girls started injuring themselves and telling the officials that the unknown man was responsible.

6. The Leaflet That Caused Trouble

Somebody started circulating a typewritten list of food additives that could cause cancer during the latter half of 1970. Because citric acid was mentioned in the list, people started panicking all over Europe and the same information was printed onto leaflets and passed out in hospitals, schools and clinics in the 1980s.

7. The Children in Georgia

Some parents gathered in a school in Georgia in 1988. One mother told the rest that her son was sick as he kept getting headaches, nausea and was looking pale and tired ever since the beginning of the term. Over time, the other parents said that their children were suffering from the same problem and blamed the school for it. Several tests were carried out but surprise surprise! There was nothing wrong with the children. According to experts, most of the parents imagined the problem as the children said that they didn’t feel ill at all.

8. Satanic Abuse

SRA was a term given to a rumor that started in America and spread to many parts of the world. People believed that the rich and wealthy all over the world kidnapped children for pornographic purposes, sacrifices or prostitution. The panic died down during the second half of 1990.

9. The Unknown Slasher

Two young girls said that they had been harmed by an unknown man with a mallet and bright shoes. The rumors spread through the country and the weapon transformed into a knife or razor. The mass hysteria died down when a woman came forward and confessed that she had actually injured herself.

10. Death by a Fan

According to a rumor which originated in South Korea, an electric fan can kill the people in the room either by suffocation or hypothermia if it is left on through the night.

The Pirate Bay created controversy some time back but because it was found that it offered text files and not data that was illegal as such, attempts to shut it down failed.

2. Ogrish

Ogrish.com featured such images and data about accidents, executions and war that were uncensored and therefore, shocking. The material was gory and graphic enough to make the viewer nauseous. Its catch line was changed from “Can You Handle Life” to “Uncover Reality” and the website’s design was drastically changed.

3. Rotten

This is another ‘shock website’ which basically collects morbid and gruesome photographs. This includes images of deformities, bloody fatalities and autopsies. Rotten was a subject of great controversy when it was founded about 14 years back but hasn’t changed much since then. The website is truly disgusting, to say the least.

4. Fight Videos

There are certain websites out there that exist for the sole purpose of showcasing gang fights and the like for the viewing pleasure of the public. The more disturbing part here is that kids end up beating each other up just to record it and then post it on the site.

5. Pro-Pedophilia

Websites like NAMBLA are encouraging the development of physical relationships between adults and those minors that give their okay. Sadly, these sites have become quite popular over the years as people like Allen Ginsberg have made it clear that they support the so-called movement.

6. Murderabelia

This term is used to describe those collectibles that are murder or violence related. Sometimes the ‘art’ is published by murderers and they make a hefty profit in the end. There are certain laws in the United States that prohibit this practices but unfortunately, it is not taken seriously.

7. The Glorification of Serial Killers

Some bizarre websites on the internet tend to glorify serial killers. The creators of such sites seem to be obsessed with the gruesome acts that these individuals carry out and feel the need to talk about them endlessly. Frankly, they need help and should log off the internet and spend their time with psychiatrists.

8. Photos from Crime Scenes

Photographs from crime scenes are collected and put up on the internet. These sites are controversial because not only are they disturbing but also insensitive as far as the victim’s family is concerned.

9. Suicide

There is one particular website on the internet which tells those who have suicidal tendencies to leave behind a ‘good looking corpse’. The creators help users write out suicide notes and the manner in which the text is written is not only convincing but also gentle.  There are others that encourage suicide if people are too depressed and want to ‘leave the world’.

The worst part is that chiropractors and doctors are usually involved in such cases.

4. Sideswipe

This criminal in this case will move towards you and force you to have an accident. This is usually done in such intersections that are confusing simply because they have too many lanes and turns. Therefore, when you are traveling on such a street, make sure a car doesn’t overtake you from your left and force you to collide into them.

5. T-Bone

This technique is usually carried out during that time of the day or year when nobody really drives about. This is because the criminals want to make sure that there are no eye witnesses around. The swindler will patiently wait at the mouth of the intersection and smash his car into a passing vehicle. They will then allow their own ‘witnesses’ to speak to the authorities and you will be in major trouble.

6. Wave

This technique is used when there is too much traffic. The scammer will wave at the victim and if the other driver waves back, he will ram his vehicle into the other car. He will tell the police that the victim actually allowed him to go first.

7. Shady Helper

Shady Helpers will approach you after you have had a ‘real’ accident and not one that has been organized, as such. He will then accompany you to a ‘good’ doctor or lawyer and maybe even a repair shop. The involved ‘professionals’ will try their best to give you the worst treatment ever and therefore, make money.

8. Panic Stop

The criminal in this case will gather a number of passengers and ask them to go along with his plan. They will move around a busy street and look out for such drivers that are using their cell phones. The criminals will take advantage of his distraction and ram into the vehicle.

9. Rear Enders

A Rear Ender will move a few feet in front of your vehicle and come to a sudden halt. Naturally, you will drive into the other car and the criminal will walk away with a lot of money.

10. Additional Damage

If you have had an accident, a criminal may look for your vehicle, take it elsewhere and destroy it further. This is why you should always get all the evidence that you can.
