This magic and power of sports is no different in one country or continent than in the other, because sports is actually one thing which brings different people together, to celebrate and to enjoy. The amount of people who are fans of these different type of sports is obviously beyond what we can imagine, thus making certain sports extremely popular and revenue generating, because they watched by so many people all over the world. So here is a list of the top 10 sports which are most loved and followed by people all across the globe.
Soccer, football or call it the Association football, this sport is played between two teams with eleven players each. Football is considered as the most popular sport in the world, due to its fan following and large participation all over the world.
Cricket is a sport played with a bat and a ball between two teams with eleven players each. The patch they play in is fixed right in the middle of the field which is 22 yards in length. When one team takes it’s turn to bat, the other team fields and ensures that the team batting finds it difficult to make runs.
Basketball remains to be the third most played and watched sport in the world. It is played in between two teams with five players each, where they play with the ball to shoot it through a hoop which is 18 inches in diameter and 10 feet high. The hoops are attached on two ends of the rectangular field on to a blackboard.

The question that arises first and foremost is who or what is a legend. It may be a person who has earned the respect of his/her peers/followers over a considerable period of time. It can also be someone who has achieved a lot in a short span of time and has attained a demi-god status as a result of it. Keeping in mind the incongruent views that pop out while listing down legendary sports personalities, I would perhaps use my discretion to add my two cents to the already existing debate. Be it the much-anticipated football World Cup or the highly competitive Wimbledon tournament, we make our tv sets our best friends. If given an opportunity, many of us would go to any length to grab the coveted ticket for a Cricket World Cup final or even for a UEFA Champions League final. Considering the wide gamut of sporting activities that take place across the world, it would be extremely difficult to list down just 10 of them. Nevertheless, after much consideration of a wide range of parameters, 10 of the most iconic and legendary sports personalities are about to be presented to you. They have represented their respective nations/clubs in either individual or team-based sports. Generations have remembered their unfathomable contribution to world sports and will continue to do so. So here I present top 10 legendary sports personalities in the world.
If you are a Djokovic or a Raphael Nadal fan, you may come up with reasons why Federer can never be given the top slot. Keeping aside groupism and favouritism for some time, it won’t be unfair to say that no other player in the history of tennis has retained the no.1 position for 237 consecutive weeks. With a total of 17 grand slam single titles, he is still ruling the roost. Like it has been mentioned before, legends are made of sterner stuff than usual. Hence, this old warrior continues to give the newer ones a run for their money.
The Master Blaster of world cricket bowed out of the arena in November 2013. Nevertheless, the legacy left behind by a cricketing career spanning over 24 years can never be forgotten. Sachin holds the record for scoring the highest number of runs in international matches and it stands at 34357 runs. You are bound to find him topping most of the record lists in Tests and ODIs. His career saw many ups and downs, with critics questioning his potentials time and again. He surpassed all such talk and walked into the sunset of his glorious career with his head held high.
This legendary boxer deserves some bit of credit for making boxing a sport recognized all over the world. He was crowned “Sportsman of the Century” by Sports Illustrated and “Sports personality of the Year” by the BBC. He has been engaged in historic duels in a career spanning over 14 years. He won his first world championship title in the year 1964 and his career has been dabbled by controversies even post-retirement. Despite his image as a polarizing entity, he has managed to have and flaunt unorthodox views on issues even beyond the boxing ring. He has staged successful comebacks even after being written off by experts on many occasions.
He may have missed out on the Ballon d’Or for the year 2013 to arch rival Christiano Ronaldo but Messi’s name will surely go down in world football’s history as one cracker of an attacking player. He is arguably the best footballer in the world today with a total of 5 Ballon d’Or(s) to his credit and all of them in succession. Be it FIFA World Player of the year or UEFA best player in Europe award, Messi has been there and done it all. He is often compared to Argentine legend Diego Maradona and analysts predict that he would even surpass his mentor Maradona in years to come. This Barcelona man has a bright future awaiting him.
Fergie, as he is fondly called by Manchester United followers, has had a successful stint with the club for around 26 long years. He has been one of the longest serving coaches in the history of the game soccer and lead United to a number of illustrious victories under his watchful eyes. This 72-year old Scottish genius may not have been in action on the arena like others on this list but has managed to be a maverick from behind the scenes. Under him United won 38 trophies, including 2 UEFA Champions League titles and 13 Premier League titles.

Cricket is among the world’s most renowned games, the origin of cricket is from England, and this game started in the 16th century and has a very strong history. Cricket is other words is a legend itself and this legend has given birth to many other legends in the face of some extraordinary brilliant cricket players including batsman, bowler and fielder. A cricket match is played between 2 teams and each team is based on 11 members, every team bats turn wise, 2 batsman of a team are on the field initially and when all the batsmen of a team are dismissed, it’s the turn for the next team to bat. While the members of one time are at the batting position, one member of the opposing team serves as a bowler who delivers the ball while the rest of the players fulfill their role as a fielder.
The responsibility of the fielders is to catch the ball as soon as the batsman hits it in order to stop him from making runs. Other than that fielder has the power to dismiss a batsman, when the batsman hits the ball and if the fielder is able to catch the ball with it being touching the even once then the batsman is automatically dismissed. If the fielder is able to hit the wicket with the ball and the batsman is not inside the crease then also he gets dismissed.
The role of a fielder is as important as of a batsman or a bowler. If any team has strong fielding abilities then they can easily turn the tables because when the bowler has bowled and batsman has hit the ball, the fielder is some` one who can stimulate or manipulate the performance of any batsman or bowler. Cricket history is filled with examples of those matches which were won only on the basis of marvelous fielding. Getting started, the term “Muscle” has a Latin origin, “musculus”, signifying the shape of it, which resembles to the mice crawling under the skin and hence the “little mouse”.
Landing on this earth acquainted with original self, the anatomical structure, the human desires never get to a full stop. Always want to get something extraordinary and here this article would talk about the plausible methods to look “CRATUS: Greek God of Power and Strength”.
There are a huge lot of people and a lot of cultures too, which as a result give rise to various techniques to build our body structure.
Choosing out of the bulk of the present techniques is the most important task.
The most significant feature which a muscle building exercise must possess is that “The workout must involve the functioning of muscles, as much as possible, simultaneously.” The more the muscles are involved; the better would be the results. Also, the soft tissues near the joints must not be stressed in excess as it would take more time to heal and as a result hamper the productivity of muscle building.
The two major factors involved in muscle building are:
1. Balanced Diet
2. Advised Exercises
The first bullet mark could be easily but passionately be achieved by adopting it in the daily routine. And the second bulleted mark is where everyone is not perfect at. It is this point that makes all the difference.
Only knowing about the terminologies is not enough, in addition to that proper way of accomplishment is necessary and also making the right choice according to the body needs is also necessary. And hence.
Reaching out the most widely used and effective methods for the same.
1. The Clean and Jerk Act
After we had talked about the exercises for different parts of the body muscles, it’s time to amalgamate all the techniques and talk about one of the best approach that would yield the perfect results and without which the process of muscle building remains incomplete.
Though done at the later stage of the process it is one of the most difficult, complex and momentous acts.
The Clean and Jerk Act, works for the full body enhancements. It comprises of two modules. The first part of the movement (clean) is a dead lift which involves the legs and the lower back. Once the deadlift is over, the legs, traps, middle back, and shoulders assist to bring the bar into a resting position right in front of the neck. Then, in the second part (jerk), the legs, shoulders, chest, and arms bring the bar right above the head. This exercise hence accommodates various techniques in one which we had talked about and prove to be a very life changing experiment as the builder feels a very exotic experience while performing this exercise. It is like a challenge being accepted by the participant that would ultimately give him a degree of being a SUCCESSFUL MUSCLE BUILDER.
2. The Barbell Curls
Then comes the “not so optional; but necessary”, The Barbell Curls, the technique for the biceps brachii muscle growth, which is the basic dream of any body builder. To come out of the gym having this muscle shouting to the milieu, “Oh! Yes! I have got it “!! This technique is not only the sufficient but also the necessary condition for the muscle building.
Now comes the most crucial one i.e. to strengthen the biceps and the triceps, which is the basic presumption by any human being for the muscle building phenomenon.
The Dip, a simple way for empowering the triceps. Though needed but could surely be avoided if any muscular issues happen. It is an optional capability towards this growing technique
After being introduced of the basic upper body growth the next step towards muscle building is strengthening of the leg muscles so as to hold the weight of your completely changed, new silhouette.
Proficiency in Squats proliferates the muscles of legs, buttocks, thighs and other secondary tissues like adductors and soleus. Heavier the squatting better is the outcome but even the most expertise one too loses the game as there is a huge risk factor involved in this act. Each and every action must be poised and neat. Elucidating with one circumstance, a small but a very significant detailing i.e. knees must not move beyond the toes, an inch of mistake and you are out of the arena. Thus the veterans came out with an alternative Barbell Lunges. A father-son relationship between the two and hence slightly lenient towards the labourer.
5. Back Thickener
A slightly specific version of this technique is Back Thickener. This exercise focuses mainly on the growth of the back of the body regardless of the complete strength of the torso.
