We encourage satire and witticism as well as unique, somewhat marginalized perspectives on topics that go beyond of mainstream perception in order to enlighten the reader. Please refer to our current blog to get the ideas.
Writings may be in the format of similar to our current posts.
We recommend between 400 to 1,000 words per submission similarly 2-5 min videos.
We will select the work that stands out as most deeply written.
Submission Guidelines
You may submit up to 3 original, unpublished pieces for consideration each month. Please do not re-submit previously submitted works.
Submissions must be attached in a Word Document, single spaced, with standard formatting and should be attached in an email to info@top-10-list.org or submitted on online via form below.
The final day of submissions is the last day of a month.
Be sure to include your full name, email and pen name.
Rules and Prizes
1st prize: $50.00 and publication on TOP 10 LIST.
Secondary prize: Even if you do not win 1st prize, we may still choose to publish your work on TOP 10 LIST and give you full credit as author.
Your submission may be published on TOP 10 LIST prior to the 1st prize selection being made. The final winner will be selected from among the published works no later than 5th of each month.
Please do not email us to inquire whether you were selected, as we cannot respond to each submission we receive. We will, however, notify the winner via email and the final winner’s work will be published on TOP 10 LIST’s featured page on 5th of each month.
All submissions must be new, original, and unpublished works.
We reserve first publication rights only; author retains all other rights to his or her work. This applies to all submissions, whether your entry wins the cash prize or whether your entry is published on TOP 10 LIST without monetary compensation.
By submitting your entry, you are granting us permission to publish your writing on TOP 10 LIST whether or not you win the cash prize.
