Do you sometimes feel frustrated with friends and family members over their lack of etiquettes and good manners? I sometimes blush and have to duck my head a bit to spare myself the humiliation. Adults are no better than kids, especially in the following situations. Here are top 10 bad manners adults have, as described in situations.

1. Greeting:

I was once at an airport picking up a couple of friends coming back from vacation. Looking around, I saw two people I knew starring at me. I was saddened by the bad manners and lack of greeting. You expect a hello from everybody but sometimes you do not get one. Some adults just do not have the appropriate level of manners in this world. I sometimes have to repeat myself asking “aren’t you going to say hello.” I’ve said this more times than I have fingers and toes on my body.

2. Burping:

I am sitting down with an acquaintance in a downtown restaurant. Although it is not one of those high class restaurants, it is classy to say the least. We start talking about life and things we plan to do, while eating the contents brought to our table. All of the sudden I hear a burp. Ladies and gentleman, this was no ordinary burp. It was the type of burp, Homer Simpson does when he finishes a beer. Burping in public places is one bad manner adults have. The only country to accept belching as normal is East Timor.

3. Please and Thank you:

You are sitting with a bunch of friends at a small diner. You order food and have not yet said that you would like to share with others. Your friend is intrigued by your sandwich. He does not like his sandwich he ordered and wants a piece of yours. Before even asking if he could have one, he puts his hand on the sandwich. What happened to please and thank you, in today’s world? Some people just have bad manners.

4. Dinner Table Discussions:

You are with your friends watching sports and eating pizza and drinking beer. While eating…one friend brings up several inappropriate topics at the table. These topics make you want to puke. You really cannot and would not want to imagine what this friend is describing. Doesn’t anyone have their dinner table manner? I guess not.

5. Flatulence:

I call these people stinkerman or stinkerwoman, if you know what I mean. These are the people who decide to spray a foul smell in public. The worst is when you are in enclosed area. Things do happen but at least can they say excuse me? This is one bad manner parents never debunk.

The following list of TV bad girls have defined television history to this day. They have schemed, manipulated and even spent time in jail for countless crimes. Viewers have grown to love and hate them and as such these characters have been welcomed into our homes for 20 years or more. Let’s just say the shows each character is or was on would be boring to watch without them.

1. Days of Our Lives: Samantha “Sami” Brady

What has Sami Brady not done on this NBC popular soap opera Days of our Lives? She date raped and stole her sister’s fiancé and claimed she was pregnant with his child, switched paternity test results to prevent anyone from finding out who the real father was and shot her husband in the head. To top of her sins she blackmailed a doctor to tell her own sister that her children would be defects. If that was not enough, she put on a persona as man named Stan who tortured many Salem citizens. Phillip Kiriakis lost his leg because of her. For 15 years her jealousy and scheming ways affected various individual in Salem. She is

now a mother of 5 torn between two men she loves.

2. Survivor: Jerri Manthey

On Survivor, Jerri is popularly known as an annoying, lying and manipulative person who no one likes, not even her fans. She was booed on Survivor All-Stars reunion, which caused her to leave unexpectedly. In real life, she was kicked off an airplane because of an argument with a flight attendant. If Jerri stops her whining and stops blaming others for her problems she would be more liked.

3. Survivor: Parvati Shallow

This Survivor has the looks of a goddess. Her body is perfect and so is her face. No man would ever be able to resist her cunning, manipulative and flirtatious personality. In the game of Fan vs. Favourites, she and 4 others girls was able to con men and other women. No one ever believed that she had the brains to outwit and outplay every single person second time around. When others felt safe, she voted them out, including her best friend Ozzy. When she came to play Survivor Heroes vs. Villains, she had a huge target on her back. As she joined forces with Russell Hantz, she was able to sneak her way into the final 3.

4. 90210: Naomi Clark

Naomi Clark is a rich girl who had everything handed to her on a silver platter. She used her sexuality to get to others, including her teachers and friends. She stole her friend Annie’s paper and handed it in with her own name. When she found out her friend Annie slept with her boyfriend, Naomi shunned the latter from all of her friends. Annie’s exclusion was part of a plan Naomi used for bullying. Throughout the second season, Naomi’s bullying caused Annie to go on a self-destructive spree. Which good girl would do such things? I can’t find any.

5. 90210: Adriana Tate-Duncon

This character is definitely one of the best TV bad girl. Throughout the first season she did drugs, slept around with other men and got herself impregnated. In third season, she stole a dead man’s songs and claimed them as her own. Furthermore, she switched her best friend’s bipolar pills as a form of revenge. By switching pills, she caused her friend to be institutionalized. What kind of friend and person does that? Only a villainous!

Who does not love drama, suspense, murder, fraud and scheming on television? As much as everybody loves heroes, they also learn to ‘hate’ their villains and bad boys. These bad boys and girls set the stage for a great series and episodes for viewers to watch. Every good boy and girl has a dark side, especially on television. Viewers know that to watch out for trouble in paradise for a couple who has excellent morals. No one would ever want to watch a show about nice people. As such, here are the top 10 TV bad boys that defined and continue to define television history.

1. Charlie Harper:

Who can forget this loveable character on Two and a Half Men? Sadly Charlie Sheen is no longer with the show. Viewers love watching Charlie Harper as he cheats with his brother’s girlfriend to have revenge sex, he often is seen bullying his nephew who he claims is not smart and makes nasty comments which belittle his brother. All in all Charlie Sheen has brought humour to the show and his jokes are what made Two and a Half Men what it is today.

2. Liam Court:

Thief, rebellious and tempered are just three words to describe this character on the primetime TV show 90210. Viewers still love him as he was able to team up with many hot characters on the TV show such as Naomi Clark. Although his charm and good looks make him less susceptible, he is one of those guys you need to look out for with 2 eyes open. He stole collection coins from his step father for his biological father and beat up an individual who was causing violence. When first seen on screen he was an underage working as a bartender and skipping school.

3. Dexter:

Although Dexter is a forensic expert and blood spatter, he lives a double life as a serial killer. He preys on other murderers who have fled the justice system. He only kills murderers if he has ample evidence to support their crimes. Although Dexter is a likeable character for his role in bringing justice, he is another TV bad boy for his serial killer and sociopathic ideas. The TV show is all about him and is popular for 6 seasons so far.

4. Russell Hantz:

Hantz lied and schemed in the game of Survivor not once, not twice but 3 times. He was able to play every single Survivor on Survivor Samoa and Survivor Heroes vs. Villains without getting caught. It was only when he got to the jury that no one wanted to vote for him. He swore on his kids life and lied, disposed of camp material to hurt others and broke alliances and friendships he did not intend to keep. He is a multimillionaire and came into Survivor to prove that it is easy to win. As he did not win 3 times, he did not prove his point.

5. Rob Mariano:

Rob Mariano used his charm and good looks to sway people in the game of Survivor not once, not twice, not three times but four times. He backstabbed, lied and outsmarted others who thought he had their best interests at heart. Rob Mariano always had one thing in mind and that was winning. To this day I cannot understand why people did not vote him off on Survivor: Redemption Island. I guess he was the villain everyone learned to trust until he threw them into the fire, literally.

However, when Lord Kitchener to over the helm of control from Frederick Roberts; the former used these refugee camps to break the uprising by committing untold atrocities against innocent civilians. It was estimated that more than 26,000 women and children met their painful and harrowing end in these concentration camps.

3. Rockets

The rockets were conceptualized and developed primarily to realize the lifelong dream of man to explore the vast outer space. Unfortunately, the NAZI used the knowledge of Werner von Braun in developing V2 rockets which eventually killed 7,250 military staff and about 20,000 slaves who were involved in the construction of these rockets.

4. Nuclear Fusion

The curiosity of Sir Marcus Laurence Elwin Oliphant in determining if a hydrogen nucleus can be made to react with another hydrogen nucleus, paved the way for the development of the hydrogen bomb. 5. Sarin Gas
