Green Tea is popular in all inhabitable continents. Originating in Asia, it is now manufactured in England, the United States and many other countries. The following companies have been able to keep the Asian traditions and bring them into the luxury of our homes.
1. Twinnings:
The U.K. company has marketed tea products since 1706. The company logo is one of the oldest to date. The drink is pure and light in taste.
2. Lipton:
The Lipton Brand is owned by Unilever and is available in 110 countries. It was created by Sir Thomas Lipton in Scotland in the 19th century. The company sells green tea caffeinated, decaffeinated and infused with fruit flavours such as passion fruit and orange.
3. Wissotzky:
The Wissotzky tea company is an Israeli/European one. It was founded in Moscow in 1849 and presently has headquarters in Tel Aviv. The leaves come directly from China and are plucked when still young. Tea bags are doubled to ensure maximum infusion. The tea is widely sold around the world, including in Canada and the United States.
4. Akbar Brothers:
Since 1907, Akbar Brothers has been a family owned business with five generations of experience and knowledge of tea trade. Today Akbar is ranked as the largest exporter of Ceylon Tea, a position held for the past 19 consecutive years. They have regular green tea and lemon green tea products which are sold widely around the world.
5. Tetley:
Joseph and Edward Tetley have been in the business of making tea since the early 19th century. The company was purchased in 2000 by India’s Tata Group. The company’s products are sold in 40 countries and are sold in over 60 blends. Their green teas are created using Asian traditions.

Staples are an American multinational company which is specialized in selling stationery articles. The company opened its first store in Brighton, Massachusetts in 1986. Staples have its stores across the world and are a great place to buy your stationeries from. These are one of the biggest stationery stores in the United States and are mostly liked by the visitors because of the varieties they serve. Even though the auto industry is facing problems and struggling all over the world, there are some cars which will never go out of style and are considered to be the best selling of all time.
1. Toyota Corolla
This car has sold 32 million units till date and bags the number one spot on this list. The style is unbeatable, the price is affordable and it is reliable and trustworthy. According to statistics, the company sells this car every 40 seconds. Even though the design has changed consistently over the years, it has remained a favorite among the regulars.
2. Fiat Punto
The car was initially known as “Project 176” and was launched in 1994. It replaced the Fiat Uno and received a number of awards during 1995. It gained instant popularity due to its clean-cut look and gave companies like Volkswagen and Opel a run for their money.
3. VW Golf
This car replaced the above-mentioned Beetle and was also known as the “Rabbit”. The engineering is above-average, the price is low and the car is nothing if not dependable. It has sold 25 million units till date.
4. Volkswagen Beetle
This car is said to be a “People’s Car” and was funded by Hitler very aggressively. Production began in 1938 and ended in 1979. This car was very popular during the post-war period. It was durable, powerful and very comfortable. The Beetle sold 2.3 million units.
5. Ford Escort
The Ford Escort was introduced in 1967 and production was stopped in 2003. This “world car” was visually appealing and low-priced. The car gained immense popularity all over the world fairly fast. The sales were estimated at 20 million units.

There is really no barometer by which one can measure the sales figures of music albums. Information before 1980s was not verifiable, and data from developing countries is also not very reliable. However, based on a lot of figures available, these are the largest selling music albums of all time, in any genre.
1. Michael Jackson – Thriller
Release in 1982, this album by Michael Jackson has been at the top of this list for a long time. It was the first album where music videos were used to promote the album. It also helped Jackson to break racial barriers and make him a pop icon. The album won eight Grammy’s at the 1984 Grammy show.
2. AC/DC – Back in Black
This was the 7th album released b y Australian Hard Rock band AC/DC. The album has been re-mastered and re-released thrice in 1994, and 1997 and in 2004. It has some of their biggest hits, such as “You shook me all night long””and the title song “Back in Black”. It is the biggest selling album of all times by any band.
3. Meat Loaf – Bat out of Hell
This album was developed by singer Meat Loaf from the musical Neverland. Since 1975 they were writing rehearsing the songs, and for the next two and half years they were rejected by many record companies. However in 1977, Todd Rungren agreed to produce this album, and the rest as they say, was history.
4. Pink Floyd – The dark side of Moon
Released in 1973, this album’s prism image cover is one of the most recognisable of all time. Many music critics have dubbed it as the most influential and greatest albums ever. The music is about mental illness and about greed and conflict, and has been their most commercially successful music album.
5. Eagles – Their greatest hits (1971-1975)
This is a compilation of the hit singles of Eagles, and covers more than the four years mentioned in the title of the album. It was an instant hit on its release and the fact that it continues to top the charts shows the popularity of this country rock band.
