The following list of TV bad girls have defined television history to this day. They have schemed, manipulated and even spent time in jail for countless crimes. Viewers have grown to love and hate them and as such these characters have been welcomed into our homes for 20 years or more. Let’s just say the shows each character is or was on would be boring to watch without them.
1. Days of Our Lives: Samantha “Sami” Brady
What has Sami Brady not done on this NBC popular soap opera Days of our Lives? She date raped and stole her sister’s fiancé and claimed she was pregnant with his child, switched paternity test results to prevent anyone from finding out who the real father was and shot her husband in the head. To top of her sins she blackmailed a doctor to tell her own sister that her children would be defects. If that was not enough, she put on a persona as man named Stan who tortured many Salem citizens. Phillip Kiriakis lost his leg because of her. For 15 years her jealousy and scheming ways affected various individual in Salem. She is
now a mother of 5 torn between two men she loves.
2. Survivor: Jerri Manthey
On Survivor, Jerri is popularly known as an annoying, lying and manipulative person who no one likes, not even her fans. She was booed on Survivor All-Stars reunion, which caused her to leave unexpectedly. In real life, she was kicked off an airplane because of an argument with a flight attendant. If Jerri stops her whining and stops blaming others for her problems she would be more liked.
3. Survivor: Parvati Shallow
This Survivor has the looks of a goddess. Her body is perfect and so is her face. No man would ever be able to resist her cunning, manipulative and flirtatious personality. In the game of Fan vs. Favourites, she and 4 others girls was able to con men and other women. No one ever believed that she had the brains to outwit and outplay every single person second time around. When others felt safe, she voted them out, including her best friend Ozzy. When she came to play Survivor Heroes vs. Villains, she had a huge target on her back. As she joined forces with Russell Hantz, she was able to sneak her way into the final 3.
4. 90210: Naomi Clark
Naomi Clark is a rich girl who had everything handed to her on a silver platter. She used her sexuality to get to others, including her teachers and friends. She stole her friend Annie’s paper and handed it in with her own name. When she found out her friend Annie slept with her boyfriend, Naomi shunned the latter from all of her friends. Annie’s exclusion was part of a plan Naomi used for bullying. Throughout the second season, Naomi’s bullying caused Annie to go on a self-destructive spree. Which good girl would do such things? I can’t find any.
5. 90210: Adriana Tate-Duncon
This character is definitely one of the best TV bad girl. Throughout the first season she did drugs, slept around with other men and got herself impregnated. In third season, she stole a dead man’s songs and claimed them as her own. Furthermore, she switched her best friend’s bipolar pills as a form of revenge. By switching pills, she caused her friend to be institutionalized. What kind of friend and person does that? Only a villainous!














This show is about a genius practitioner who is a diagnostician. The story revolves around Gregory House, M.D. Gregory House. M.D. usually takes cases that he finds interesting. His diagnosis theories are different, following differential diagnosis methods. These theories are ridiculed and misunderstood by other practitioners. House usually refuses to normal diagnosed case. He picks up those cases that have been to other doctors before, but the treatment was unsuccessful. House’s diagnosis is based on details and treatment after he understands the problems of the patient accurately. The events in the series revolve around the diagnosis, which makes this medical drama very interesting.
This show is about six friends who are trying to find something in their lives. For some it is love, for others it is just about facing the real world every day. However, this becomes impossible without each other for them. ‘Friends’ is a comedy series that you won’t be able to leave for anything once you start watching it. It started in 1994 and ran for consistent 10 years, ending in 2004. The subtitle song ‘With a Little Help from My Friends’ is written by Beatles. These six friends casted in the shows live in New York, living their lives in the constant journey of joys and sorrows with each other’s help.
The Simpsons is an animated series which revolves around a family life and events. The Simpsons Family resides in the Middle American town. The family has Homer, the father and Marge Simpson, the mother and the housewife, three children, Bart, Lisa and Maggie. Bart is a trouble-maker. He causes trouble in almost every situation intentionally or unintentionally. Marge is a typical Housewife. Lisa is a little activist and Maggie doesn’t communicate with family except for sucking a pacifier to express whenever she wants to say something. Homer has a very comic personality. He works as a safety inspector. The family also owns a dog and a cat. These pets have their significant roles in every season of the series. This comedy series has excelled better than any drama series on air since it has started. Its 22nd season has aired on September, 26, 2010.
This TV shows is one of the best in Horror/ Thriller series till date. The story revolves around two brothers, Sam and Dean. Both want to follow different paths in their lives where they encounter terrifying events and mysteries that they have to solve. Sam and Dean are following their father’s obsession to hunt down the Supernatural. They have been taught the same by their father to avenge their mother’s death, which resulted by an evil force itself. Sam is desperate to start a new life away from his family’s black past while Dean is interested in evil Hunt. The supernatural events revolving in the show run is a partial sequence, giving a meaning to the entire storyline and space to a new story for every episode.
This medical drama mixed with bizarre events and endless comedy is very different from any previous ones that you might have seen. The show revolves around a new intern, John Dorian and his unpredictable decisions. The strange staff adds up to the comical events to treating the patients. You will never know which events can turn up making you laugh in this TV show. The med students are focused with different motto and targets which are not exactly ethical or evil. The casts and events make this show incredibly different and refreshing.
The 6th season of How I Met Your Mother was released in the month of September this year. This series does not stop keeping its viewing happy at all. How i met your mother is still going strong with strong number of viewers as they continue to deliver this comedy filled show.
Not far behind How I Met Your Mother is The Big Bang Theory, a show about 4 science geeks and a hot feminine neighbour. This famous comedy sitcom was renewed for its fourth season and it premiered on the 4th of November. The Big Bang Theorys fourth season is considered the best among all its seasons as the comedy reaches another level.
The Walking Dead is another new television series that was released in the year 2010. It is an American post apocalyptic horror television series that was premiered on the AMC network on October.
Nikita is an all new American television drama that was released in the month of September. It airs on the CW Television Network. Nikita is about a spy and assassin who has gone rogue after finding out the true colours of the government agency she worked for. Nikita is on a mission to bring down Division, the corrupt government agency.
The famous teen drama was renewed for a third season this year. This year saw the introduction of many recurring characters in this series, which means more stories and more drama. There are many twists and turns in this season with Ryan becoming a dad, Annies mom working for Jen as an assistant, Ted turning gay, Naomis rape, etc..

The cast of Grey’s Anatomy is racially diverse and shows emotions that people go through while working in a stressed environment such as a hospital.
24 revolves around federal agent Jack Bauer. Each of the episodes shows one hour in the day of Agent Bauer. 24 premiered in 2001, and had Bauer being a part of Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU), and the plot is like a political thriller. Throughout most of the episodes of 24, Bauer is trying to unravel terrorist plots, nuclear, biological threats, cyber attacks. The TV series has won several awards and is among the longest running shows on television.

House revolves around Dr. Gregory House, who heads a team of diagnostics doctors at the Princeton‑Plainsboro Teaching Hospital. This animated show revolves around two bunnies-Ruby is Max’s elder sister. It is all very innocent till one realizes that the parents are never around. Ruby looks after Max and pretends to be his mother even though she is only seven years old. Maybe some animated social services should visit the show.
The protagonist of this show is named Stephanie and she is a human being. She visits LazyTown and decides to live with her uncle. However, everybody in the town, including her uncle, is a puppet. There is one more human who encourages the puppets to start eating junk food. Humans and puppets live around each other like it is perfectly normal and give the children serious headaches.
Even though this show is quite popular, one cannot deny the fact that it is quite bizarre and should not be watched by kids. What are these creatures meant to be? They have screens instead of stomachs and their voices are nothing if not weird.
It is difficult to describe the characters in this show. Let’s just say they are played by hands which hold up eyeballs. These hands don’t speak much- they throw about single worlds when they feel like it. If this does not give children nightmares, the Teletubbies surely will.
This show features strange looking anthropomorphic vegetables that play instruments. What’s more, they teach children all about Biblical values and morals. Why?
