Top Ten Charitable Organizations

A recent survey carried out across the globe revealed some facts on the current status of charitable and philanthropic organizations in the world. This list compiles the Top Ten Charities who received the most votes. They have done a fantastic job by getting a large number of supporters to spread the word about their various causes.

1. Love/Avon Army of Women

The Love/Avon Army of Women is driven by two main partnerships which will propel research to prevent breast cancer: the partnership between Avon Foundation for Women and Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation, and the partnership between women and scientists.

2. Best Friends Animal Society

Breast Cancer Network of Strength provides immediate emotional relief to all those people who have been affected by breast cancer. Through knowledge, empowerment and peer support, Network of Strength helps to ensure that no one is left fighting breast cancer alone.

10. Girl Power 2 Cure, Inc.

Girl Power 2 Cure is a national non-profit organization that aims at raising research funds and awareness to treat Rett Syndrome. Rett Syndrome is the most severe of the Autism Spectrum Disorders that mainly affects girls. This debilitating neurological disorder steals the power of speech in girls, hand movement, walking ability etc. Some of them also suffer from other related conditions such as digestive complications, seizures and sleep deprivation.
