In most cases, all diabetic symptoms disappear following delivery. However, those with gestational diabetes are increasingly at risk of developing diabetes later in life, especially if they were overweight before pregnancy.



Be sure to check that you do not have any STDs, especially Chlamydia. This infectious disease can be associated with premature labor and rupture of the membranes.
