Nowadays, when each home at least has one TV then how can you be spared of its dazzling effects? Television sitcom grips you, clenches you in its drama and finally you end up wanting more of its episode to watch. But a TV series is better than a movie because just last for two to three hours but a TV show is just timeless. The storyline revolves around several people and you can very easily connect with the characters. Besides these days investment in TV industry is very much similar to Movie industry so there is hardly any difference in their business. Here is the list of ten daily soaps everybody loves to watch.

1.    FRIENDS

Even after a decade Friends is everybody favorite show. You can watch the episodes gain and again and I bet you gonna laugh harder each time. It is a story about six friends who happen to live in Manhattan. Six young people, on their own and struggling to survive in the real world, find the companionship, comfort and support they get from each other to be the perfect antidote to the pressures of life. The OCD Monica, geeky Ross, girly-girl Rachel, eccentric Pheobe, flirty Joey and confused Chandler can make laugh like hell. Ten season of the show has been telecast from 1994 to 2004.

In the modern adaptation of Sir Conan Doyle character Sherlock, lives in the 21st century in London, a city filled with mystery, crime and deceit. The back streets are alive with robbers, blackmailers, smugglers and serial killers. When the police are desperate they call upon Mr Sherlock Holmes and his unconventional methods of deduction to shed light on the matter. Along with Dr. John Watson he is out in the street to solve any unsolved crime. He has one master mind antagonist Professor Morarity, who himself is obsessed with Sherlock. Besides Benedict Cumberbatch’s English accent is just heart throbbing.

Seven noble families fight for control of the mythical land of Westeros.  The first follows the members of several noble houses in a civil war for the Iron Throne  of the Seven Kingdoms; the second covers the rising threat of the impending winter and the mythical creatures of the North; the third chronicles the attempts of the exiled last scion of the realm’s deposed dynasty to reclaim the throne. The series spellbound cinematographic has helped the series to gain million of viewers across the world. The series explores issues of social hierarchy, religion, loyalty, corruption, civil war, crime, and punishment.

4. THE SIMPSONS

It is an American animated TV sitcom about the antics of a dysfunctional family called The Simpsons. Homer, the lovable dufus father, stumbles apathetic ally through his family life and work at the local nuclear power plant. Marge, the overbearing but responsible mother, Bart, the 4th grade underachiever and nemesis to Springfield elementary’s principal, Lisa, the brainy and responsible 8 year old, and Maggie, the oft-forgotten baby, round out the family. It is based on the cartoons sketches of Tracy Ullman show. Total no of seasons that has been telecast yet are 25.

It is a comedy drama and it primarily traces the lives of Richard Castle, a best-selling mystery novelist, and Kate Beckett, an NYPD homicide detective, as they solve various unusual crimes in New York City. “Rick” Castle gets permission from the Mayor of New York City to tag along with an NYPD homicide investigation team for research purposes. But life is not all crime fighting adventure for this wealthy playboy: his relationship with Beckett becomes even more strained when he unveils a new series of detective novels featuring a racy character based on her, and his home life is dominated by his mother (a fading Broadway diva) and his whip-smart teen-aged daughter. The overarching plot of the series focuses on the romance between the two lead characters, as well as the murder of Beckett’s mother. Season 6 of the show was aired in 2013.

It is based on the novel of the same name by Michael Dobbs. Majority House Whip Francis Underwood takes you on a long journey as he exacts his vengeance on those he feels wronged him – that is, his own cabinet members including the President of the United States himself. Dashing, cunning, methodical and vicious, Frank Underwood along with his equally manipulative yet ambiguous wife, Claire take Washington by storm through climbing the hierarchical ladder to power in this scenario. The show currently just two season old but has a high rating.

The series centre on Dexter Morgan. By the day he’s a blood spatter pattern expert for the Miami Metro police department. But by night – he takes on an entirely different persona: serial killer hunting down criminals who have slipped through the cracks of the justice system.  But Dexter isn’t just an average serial killer as he only kills people who fit a very prolific and precise “moral code” taught to him by his late father Harry (he didn’t kill Harry, honest), and developed very thoroughly throughout each kill. The finale season was aired in September,2013.

8. THE BIG BANG THEORY

The show is primarily centered on five characters living in  Pasadena, California where Leonard Hofstadter and Sheldon Cooper  both brilliant physicists working at Caltech lives in an apartment. They are also friends with their Caltech colleagues mechanical engineer Howard Wolowitz and astrophysicist Rajesh Koothrappali.  They are self-professed nerds. When Penny, a pretty woman and an aspiring moves into the apartment across the hall from two brilliant but socially awkward physicists shows them how little they know about life outside of the laboratory. The geekiness and intellect of the four guys is contrasted for comic effect with Penny’s social skills and common sense. But you need to keep a scientific dictionary with you while watching because Sheldon’s science is way off your limits. The jokes an accessible and fun, even (and especially) when they’re told with the crazy vocabulary of said super genius, Sheldon Cooper .

9. THE VAMPIRE DIARIES

It is based on the novel of the same name by L.J.Smith. The story is set in Mystic falls where the vampire brothers Damon and Stefan Salvatore, eternal adolescents, having been leading ‘normal’ lives, hiding their bloodthirsty condition, for centuries fall in love with the same girl Elena Gilbert who later turns out to be a doppelganger of Katherine Pierce, one who converted them into vampires. Elena happens to write journal and is the protagonist of the series. The show has smoking hot characters and shows various supernatural powers such as vampire, werewolves, witches, travelers, etc. The series has a total of five seasons till date.

10. HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER

It is story where Ted Mosby in 2030 tells his son and daughter about his quest to find their mother and get married. It all begins in 2005. The show mainly has five characters and the humor can set you back and forth. The most beloved character of the show was Barney Stinson because of his eccentric humor. It is just not the humor but the irony of performance. The series has a total of nine seasons and ended up in 2014.
