Life is one great gift that we all are enjoying every moment. To live a long life is every living beings dream. But for human beings it’s a desire to live long! Life is a gift and long life is a bonus card in it. With so many unfulfilled wishes, works left undone, relationships left incomplete people die. It’s indeed very sad but the sole reason for their death is themselves. I don’t believe in fate and the notion of God taking lives away. God is the creator of this universe and why would he want to destroy his own creation. It’s we who are responsible to live a long healthy life and we who put an end to it as well.

Living a long life is nice when maintained well. There is no mantra or magic to live long. There are just few good qualities we need to inculcate in ourselves to make it till where we want. First of all we need to be well aware of our body and soul. Both of these together form life. May not be in depth but at least where which organ is located in our body and its functions. Mind is the key to all actions. People tend to live long for many reasons. Some live long for others and some to themselves. Some people live long to show the world making records of long life. We are not behind such a living. There are a lot of diseases caused due to less intake of water. It is necessary for a person to drink 4 liters of water every day. We need to compensate the water lost from our body through other means by taking in sufficient amount of water throughout the day. Make it a habit to drink water. I can assure you a long life because my grandfather is an example who lived 98 years!

Do as much as you can. This makes you choose what is important for you and that is when you fulfill your desire to live long.

This can include spending for the needy, sharing food with the ones who are starving, giving your helping hand to the people who are in need. Eating healthy hygienic food is very important. Many people live to eat and not eat to live. The main rule to follow to stay healthy is never ever over eat! Always enjoy whatever you are eating. Your daily dosage of food must be like a pyramidal with heavy breakfast at its base. Next it should be followed by a good lunch and something really light for dinner like the pyramid’s apex. Give sufficient gaps after your meals. It’s very important not to go to bed after a heavy meal.
