Conspiracy theories make interesting conversation pieces because mostly, they are outlandish and bizarre. The following are the top 10 and while some are definitely senseless, others will leave you puzzled and thoughtful.

 

1. The U.S. Government was involved in the 9/11 attacks

Many people believe that George W. Bush and his administration were part of the planning which lead to the destruction of the twin towers. Supposedly, this was done in order to gain additional military support, expand the state and support other policies which would benefit the President at the time.

 

2. A UFO was found in Roswell

It is believed that a UFO crashed in the summer of 1947 in the United States near Roswell. People have been debating for years about whether it actually happened and whether the evidence is credible. The military maintains the view that the ruins that were found belonged to a research balloon.

 

3. John F. Kennedy’s Death

John F. Kennedy was assassinated in November 1963 and it was concluded that Lee Harvey Oswald was behind the crime. The conspiracy theory here is that the CIA, the Mafia, the FBI, the Federal Reserve along with the Vice President were involved as well.

 

4. Global Warming is a Hoax

According to The Greenhouse Conspiracy, Global Warming is a myth. They believe that a single rumor spiraled out of control and led scientists to be sure that the environment is beyond repair. William Gray supports this theory and has recently listed out about 15 reasons which all point towards the fact that global warming is a fraud.

 

5. The Royal Family killed Princess Diana

Dodi Fayed and Princess Diana met with a car accident and died in 1997. It is believed that they were involved in a romantic relationship and that when the Royal Family found out, they had them killed in order to prevent a massive scandal.
