1. Moto Guzzi Stelvio 1200 4v
Stelvio has been produced by the Italian manufacturer Moto Guzzi. The engine of this bike is 1200 cc, twin cylinder and four valves per cylinder. It comes under the sports bike category.
2. Kawasaki Ninja 650R
This motorbike was introduced in 2006 and is also known as ER-6f or ER-6n. Ninja has been designed to be driven on the normal city roads. This bike was launched in 2007 and has continued since then. Ducati is an Italian manufacturer and it has manufactured many sports bike like the Ducati 1098R. The bike is also known as “ten night eight”. 1098R has succeeded 1098 and 1098S. 1198 has succeeded the Ducati 1098R. This bike is of the sports bike class. The engine is 1098-1198 cc l twin cylinder, liquid cooled, desmodromic and 4 valves per cylinder.
4. Honda CBR 1000RR
The CBR has been launched by the Japanese manufacturer Honda. This bike is also known as Fireblade. The bike comes under the sports bike category. The engine is a 999 cc, 4 cylinder and liquid cooled engine. This has been in the markets since 2004. The bike has been bestowed with the award “Cycle World’s International Bike of the Year 2008-2009”.
5. BMW R1200RT
BMW Motorrad launched BMW R1200RT in 2005. This bike by BMW is a touring motorcycle. Its predecessor was the BMW R1150RT. It has an 1170 cc, 8 valve flat twin and oil/air cooled engine. The motorbike has a six speed gear box. In 2005 and 2006 the bike won the “best tourer” award. Due to various safety issues the bike has been recalled a number of times.
6. Suzuki Hayabusa
This bike is known as GSX1300R or “Busa”. It comes under the sports bike category. It was launched by the Japanese automobile manufacturer in 1999. It has won the award of being the fastest production motorcycle in the world. The name itself symbolizes speed as Hayabusa is the Japanese name for the Peregrine Falcon. The second generation Hayabusa has 1349 cc, liquid cooled, four stroke, 16 valve and fuel injection engine. The Hayabusa is also used as a police and sports bike.
7. Yamaha RX-Z
This bike has been in production since 1987. It comes under the sports bike category. The engine is a 133 cc and 2 stroke engine. This bike is very famous in Singapore and Malaysia. The predecessor of this bike is the Yamaha RD 125 and the successor to this model is Yamaha FZ 150i.
8. Triumph Daytona 675
This bike was introduced by the automobile manufacturer Triumph in 2006 and has been in production till date. It succeeded the Triumph Daytona 650. The class under which Daytona comes is a sports bike. It has been remodeled in 2009. 2010 and 2011 in a row. It has a six speed gearbox. Daytona has also been a big name in the racing sphere.
9. Royal Enfield Bullet 350
The bullet is produced by Royal Enfield Motors since 1995. It was originally produced in 1931. It has the longest running production in the world since 1948. The Bullet 350 is the revised version being produced since 2007 till date. The Bullet 350 is also known as Electra 4s, 5s, classic and machismo 500. The engine is 346 cc, 499cc and 500cc.
10. Harley Davidson VRSC
VRSC stands for Twin Racing Street Custom. This bike is also known as V-Rod, Night-Rod, Street-Rod and V-Rod Muscle. It has been in production since 2001. It comes under the cruiser category. The engine is water cooled 1250 cc engine.
These are the most famous two wheelers in Asia among the countless ones on the road.
