The beliefs and aspirations of a child are unique and very special! A child wants to become everything he is fascinated by .His desires are innocent and beautiful. I am telling you some of my aspirations as a child.. I advice you to think of yours as it will give you immense pleasure to remember those sweet memories!
10. WHO DOESN’T WANT TO BECOME “ JAMES BOND”?
A man on high alert, going through a labyrinth of hallways with an unflinching determination and eagerness to unfold the mystery and find the culprit. This is my imagination of the brave and dutiful detective I have always dreamt to become!
9. I ALWAYS WANTED TO FLY LIKE A BIRD!
To my parents it seemed like I have completely lost my senses whenever I talked of being a bird. But now that I am old enough to understand, I realise that I wanted to become a bird not because of its physical appearance but because to me it symbolises freedom, independence and souring high above the clouds. The bird’s faith in her wings encouraged me to have faith in myself and be self confident! Moreover it was the pride with which she flies which made me love her!
8. “BOSSING AROUND!”
Its when your elders at school boss around you and command you to do silly things like bow your head or get them a bottle of water that you think of digging a pit and throwing each one of them in it or burrowing them in the soil or just anything to get rid of them! You always dream of the time when you could return all that they did and much worse to them! So “ bossing around” is something every child desperately wants .
7. OWN A MC DONALDS!
The day when you grab a “ mc spicy paneer” and say “ just woooow !” as though you have never tasted a dish so delicious and mouth watering before! That very moment you wonder what if you could always have it, and not just for a meal but for 3 meals and all throughout the day… and then this thought suddenly grabs your attention” what if I own this place?” and you are bewildered to even have a thought so vague but just so good !
So just like every other child of my age, I have always dreamt of owning a Mc Donalds of my own. Even pronouncing its name, gives me so much of pleasure!
6. FLYING A PLANE!
I may have travelled in a plane several times and its bizarre but this thought of flying it myself arouses in my mind every single time! I wonder what can be more delightful than seeing everything from the “Eifel Tower” in Paris to “Golden Temple” in Amritsar free of costs rather they pay for you to live in luxurious hotels!
5. BEING THE PERSON NEXT TO GOD– A “ DOCTOR”
To me there is just nobody above a person who never has a inch of hospitality in his eyes or a word of complaint in his mouth even if he is disturbed at one at night to treat a person he has never been acquainted with in his entire life! That is whom I have always wanted to become, not because I wanted to be appreciated for it but because I want serve humanity and that day I will accept myself as a true citizen of this country!
4. THE WELL OF KNOWLEDGE- A TEACHER!
A teacher is someone who shoulders the responsibility of carving the future of the young minds that sit in front of her. I am excited about the prospect of making tangible difference in young minds! She opens a mind, touches hearts and shapes the future. So that’s what I want to become!
3. HIS COURAGE AROUSES IN ME A SURGE OF ADMIRATION – A SOLDIER!
A person with shredded clothes, bloodied feet , hair caked with dust but unshaken resolution to keep his countrymen safe from any obstacle they may face is my description of the brave and dutiful soldier whom I respect and adore for his unconditional sacrifice for the safety and well being of his countrymen!
2. EVERYBODY’S EXPECTATIONS LIE ON HIM- A POLITICIAN!
Don’t you want to become somebody like Narender Modi.. whom everyone be it a child of 10 or an adult of 80 watches spellbound, glued to the tv with utmost pleasure and infinite patience! It is him who does not take petty decisions like “ which pizza to order?” or “ which book to read?” but crucial decisions that govern the lives of millions!
1.RANBEER KAPOOR OR DEEPKA PADUKONE!”
I can not remember the day when after seeing “ yeh jawani hai diwani” I had no doubt in my mind that I have to under all circumstances become an actor! I was so adamant about it that I rejoiced for almost a month. I am so sure this isn’t just my story but the story of many of us as children . Even now when I am a teenager of 19 , I can not restrain myself from rethinking on my career as an actor!
