In March 2001 the Dept of Psychology @ Duke University teamed up with the Dept of Animal Husbandry @ Texas A&M to study intellegence of several selected dog breeds. The outcome of the study ranked the Jindo 1st, Poodle 2nd. There was not even a close 3rd, because all other breeds were determined to be about the same.

    I THINK THE AKITA IS THE MOST INTELLIGENT DOG EVER TESTED BY PEOPLE.
    Border Collie is good dog but AKITA is SMARTER and stronger. Akita will never cheat the owner. Always responds fast and outperform the Border Collie. Border collie is good for a field competition but in real life Akita is the boss if you compare them in the same level of professional training.
